Objective To retrieve and obtain relevant evidence on the prevention and management of medical adhesive-related skin injury(MARSI) in neonates to guide clinical practice. Methods We searched UpToDate,BMJ Best Practice,Guidelines International Network(GIN),National Guideline Clearinghouse(NGC),Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO),Medlive,Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI),Cochrane Library,Embase,PubMed,Science Direct,CNKI to collect relevant guidelines, recommended practice, evidence summaries, systematic reviews and expert consensuses published form January 1,2011 to February 18,2021. There were 2 researchers who evaluated the quality of the literature and extracted evidence according to the Australian JBI Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care’s literature evaluation criteria and evidence grading system. Results A total of 10 articles were included, including 2 guidelines,2 evidence summaries,2 systematic reviews,4 expert consensuses. A total of 18 pieces of best evidence were collected, mainly involving 5 aspects of skin assessment, skin protection, employment choices, operation methods, management and training. Conclusion This study summarized the best evidence for the prevention and management of MARSI in neonates. It suggests that the nursing administrators should take the actual situation into consideration to formulate relevant nursing measures in clinical practice. We should solve the problem of MARSI in neonates in a scientific way, which can reduce the occurrence of skin injury and improve nursing quality.

Objective To compile an Assessment Scale of Aspiration Risk for Nasal Feeding Patients, and to test its reliability and validity, aiming to provide a scientific and objective aspiration risk assessment tool for doctors and nurses. Methods The draft of the Assessment Scale of Aspiration Risk for Nasal Feeding Patients was constructed based on the literature analysis and 2 rounds of Delphi consultations. Using convenience sampling, the data of 122 patients with nasal feeding from November 2020 to March 2021 in tertiary A hospital of Shenzhen was collected, and item screening and the test of reliability and validity were carried out. Results The Assessment Scale of Aspiration Risk for Nasal Feeding Patients includes 3 dimensions,10 first-level items and 22 second-level items. The exploratory factor analysis extracts 3 common factors, and the cumulative variance contribution rate is 61.699%. The load value of common factors of each item is between 0.473 to 0.931. The correlation coefficient of the effective standard(whether aspiration occurs) is 0.739;the area under the ROC curve for predicting the risk of aspiration in nasal feeding patients is 0.961,and the confidence interval of 95% is between 0.929 to 0.993(P<0.001);the content validity is 0.953;the Cronbach’s α coefficient of the scale is 0.739. Conclusion The Assessment Scale of Aspiration Risk for Nasal Feeding Patients has good reliability and validity, and it can be used as a tool in clinical practice to assist in the identification and prediction of aspiration.

Acquired weakness and delirium have a strong impact on rehabilitation and life quality of critically ill patients in intensive care unit(ICU). In previous interventions, patients were mostly passively involved. With its unique features of perceptibility, interactivity, immersion and imagination, virtual reality technology can increase the participation of patients effectively and has become an auxiliary means to promote the rehabilitation of critically ill patients in ICU. This article summarizes the types, methods of application, precautions and application effects of virtual reality technology in ICU critically ill patients, and provides a reference for developing virtual reality technology in ICU in our country.

Objective To explore the effects of teach back method on the compliance of respiratory function exercise among esophageal cancer patients underwent thoracic surgery. Methods A total of 50 patients with esophageal cancer received respiratory function exercise based on teach back method. Results After intervention, the compliance of respiratory function exercise was significantly improved(P<0.01). Only 2 patients developed pneumonia. Conclusion Teach back method can effectively improve the compliance of respiratory function exercise and promote the recovery of the lung function.
